THE NEXT GENERATION OF CIRCUS

This year, we are delighted to have some of our Youth Circus Crew attending events at Pitch’d as part of our Youth Ensemble Programme for 2023.

We hope by seeing new work, this will inspire the group to see new potentials and demonstrate to them what is possible with contemporary circus as they embark on their journey as circus creators.

Established in January 2023, Rebel Circus is formed of the teenage class from Circus Factory Cork. In the group are some young people who have come up through our Youth circus programme (starting at age 7) as well as some that are completely new to Circus! The group has 14 members, ages between 13 and 16. The group have interests in a great range of circus skills, from contortion, chinese pole, diablo and walking globe to name but a few.
